National Ag in the Classroom Conference

NationalAgDayIndiana teachers or AITC volunteers who are members of Indiana Farm Bureau and are interested in attending the National Ag in the Classroom 2014 Conference, June 23-27, in Hershey, PA,  may apply for consideration by completing the attached application. The individual(s) selected to attend the conference will have their registration fees, travel and hotel expenses paid in full by Indiana Farm Bureau.

Winners will be announced at the Indiana Farm Bureau Spring Conference, March 7-8.


Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) provides educators a wealth of resources for integrating agriculture, nutrition and natural resource education into the K-12 curriculum. AITC programs improve student achievement by utilizing innovative, hands-on relatable lessons that intrigue students while teaching core curriculum concepts in science, social studies, language arts, math and nutrition. This conference showcases the best ideas and latest resources from across the country – ready for your classroom. (This conference will provide 20+ points towards license renewal if the teacher’s license is eligible to be renewed using Professional Growth Plan hours.)
